Joakim Rydell received his M.S. in information technology and his Ph.D. in medical informatics from Linköping University, Sweden. He is currently a senior scientist at the Swedish Defence Research Agency. His main research interests include image based positioning systems and image analysis for object detection, tracking and identification.
